Bears At Buckberry...Oh My!

It's reported that over 1,500 bears call the Great Smoky Mountains their home. One of them evidently was interested in a getaway to Buckberry. This shot was taken right outside the Lodge as our furry friend looks for where to check in.

Leading Industry Conference Reports Interest in Fractional Ownership Remains Strong Despite Tough U.S. Economy.
As many industries and businesses continue to struggle through the current U.S. economic recession, sales and interest in fractional vacation homes remain strong. That was a central message heard at the Ragatz Associates Fractional Interest Conference —the nation’s leading annual fractional marketing event.
Representatives of the Buckberry Residence Club attended this year’s event — held in March 2008 in San Francisco, California — and discovered some remarkable facts about the current state of the fractional ownership, including:
• Fractional sales climbed 20 percent last year, to $98 billion in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
(source: NorthCourse Leisure Real Estate Solutions Survey, NY Times – April 18, 2008)
The conference cited many factors are behind the strong interest nationwide in fractional vacation homes in the face of a weakened economy, such as.
• Unlike timeshares or rentals, fractional ownership means consumers get actual deeded real estate property that they own.
Amidst the magnificent setting of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Buckberry Residence Club offers the only fractional ownership opportunity in the state of Tennessee, Our ownership club provides exclusive luxuries such as pre-arrival grocery delivery, concierge service, 24-hour security, in-room dining and all of the services that come with a premier luxury hotel. But unlike a stay at a fine hotel, it provides ownership in a prime piece of real estate you will call your own.
